MICHAEL CHERNOW is an entrepreneur + branding expert. He is the Founder/Owner of Seamore’s, Co-Founder of The Meatball Shop, and Co-Founder of WellWell.

Seamore’s

Seamore’s was founded by Michael Chernow in June of 2015 at Broome and Mulberry street in Manhattan’s NoLita neighborhood. Seamore’s is known for excellent, healthy, and fun seafood. The fish at Seamore’s is 100% sustainable, sourced as close to home as possible and most importantly delicious, offered at an accessible price point. The easily approachable menu displays an array of seafood classics like poke, fish tacos, familiar seafood inspired sandwiches, simply seared fish with daily sides and a selection of delicious salads. The point here is to keep it simple yet delicious. Seamore’s hopes to educate a bit by creating a healthy option that is incredibly tasty, super fun and environmentally sound allowing guests to feel good about their choice in seafood options.  There are now 6 Seamore’s locations in New York.

The meatball shop

Partnering with his childhood best-friend, Daniel Holzman, The Meatball Shop opened its doors in 2010.  TMS quickly became a NYC institution. Together, Michael, Daniel and the amazing TMS executive team have grown The Meatball Shop to 8 locations in New York, Washington DC, and Connecticut, published the highly acclaimed The Meatball Shop Cookbook, and have celebrated brand collabs with VANS, Carhartt, and Champion, to name a few.

WELLWELL

WellWell is a fast growing, tech-enabled functional beverage brand based in NYC. In the world of sports drinks and wellness beverages, we had trouble finding options that were both free of artificial ingredients, and supported by scientific research.
We’re doctors and chefs and athletes, former punk kids who were frustrated by everything fake. We grew up in communities that weren’t afraid to call the world out. Now, we’re here. We’ve realized that we enjoy taking care of our bodies and minds, to be better people for our people. That’s why we can’t accept the status quo. We worked to create products we wanted to use—made with natural ingredients combined in recipes based on science. Not made in a lab, just proven in one. We’re not here to call anyone out. We’re here to call everyone out.We make functional beverages that function. If it’s in the bottle, it does something. Openly and honestly, we share what we know and what we don’t. We work to give you everything you need, both inside the bottle and with our voice, to cultivate your vibrance.
